The SpeakEasy M.E.D.I.A. Foundation founded in January of 2009 was created in honor of the late Andria Hall. Our foundation has been formed solely for charitable and educational purposes. Specifically, the SpeakEasy M.E.D.I.A. Foundation will provide scholarships to disadvantaged youth in the United States and the Caribbean who are interested in pursuing a career in the field of Communications.

Andria Hall was the former President of SpeakEasy M.E.D.I.A. Incorporated, a media and public presentation consulting firm that inspires clear and effective communications to clients in North America and the Caribbean. An Emmy Award winning broadcast journalist, Andria had a fruitful career at the news anchor desk of the world renowned CNN/USA. In addition to working in the nations number one market at the number one station in New York City, New York’s NBC affiliate, she was also a national news correspondent with FOX Network. While working in Boston, Massachusetts her work earned the industry’s prestigious Gabriel and DuPont Awards.

The SpeakEasy M.E.D.I.A. Foundation will sponsor and conduct scholastic and educational events, which will foster and promote the health and education of youth and media worldwide. Each year scholarships will be awarded to students in the US and the Caribbean. These students are all attending college and studying in the field of communications.

The SpeakEasy M.E.D.I.A. Foundation is run by a group of board members who meet quarterly to discuss and vote on future plans for the foundation. The foundation is an approved IRS 501(c)(3) organization.
